The Photographer
Billy Hapsburg is a photographer based out of Atlanta, specializing in “dudeoir,” a genre built around celebrating masculine confidence, vulnerability, and artful self-expression. Billy believes every person carries a story worth telling, and the camera is just the way to get it onto paper and screen.
Billy brings warmth, humor, and a practiced eye to every session. A shoot with Billy is a judgment-free zone, part sanctuary, part creative playground, where clients arrive nervous and leave transformed.
Billy has worked with clients ranging from first-timers who have never stood in front of a camera to seasoned performers looking for something more intimate. Whatever your relationship to the lens, this is a space made for you.
When not shooting, Billy can be found taking photo walks with a film camera, rewatching old movies, and drinking far too much dark roast.

The Process
Every shoot begins with a conversation. Before you ever get in front of a camera, we talk through your vision, your comfort level, and what you want to walk away with. There are no wrong answers, only starting points.
On the day of your session, we move at your pace. Wardrobe (or lack thereof), lighting, and posing are all collaborative. You are never just a subject, you are a co-creator. Sessions typically run an hour or two, with a review and selects process to follow within the week.
Final images are delivered as high-resolution digital files, ready for print or for keeping close. Prints, albums, and wall art are also available. Every package starts with a free consultation. No pressure, no commitment.
